Famagusta Tour

  • St. Barnabas Monastery: Visit the 18th-century church, the icon museum, and the tomb of St. Barnabas, one of the founders of the Cypriot Church.

  • Ancient Salamis: Walk through the ruins of the Roman theater, the baths, and the gymnasium of what was once the island's most powerful city-kingdom.

  • Famagusta Walled City: Explore the "City of 365 Churches" and its perfectly preserved Venetian walls.

  • St. Nicholas Cathedral: Marvel at the stunning Gothic architecture of the cathedral that was converted into the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque.

  • Varosha "Ghost Town": Take a somber walk through the recently opened streets of this abandoned seaside district.

Discover the layers of Cypriot history on a journey that spans from ancient civilizations to modern-day mysteries. This tour takes you deep into the northern region to explore the Ancient City of Salamis, a sprawling archaeological site featuring a grand Roman theater and marble-columned gymnasium. You will also visit the Monastery of St. Barnabas, the burial place of the patron saint of Cyprus, which now houses an exquisite icon museum and archaeological collection.

The adventure continues inside the massive Venetian fortifications of the Famagusta Walled City, where Gothic cathedrals stand as a testament to the city’s medieval glory. Finally, witness the haunting "Ghost Town" of Varosha, a once-glamorous resort frozen in time since 1974. This is a comprehensive cultural experience that connects the ancient, the sacred, and the modern.
